Maybe something is wrong with my host (windows 11)? Windows settings shows I am in 4k with 300% scaling, and it clearly is based on eye test, but websites all recognize my resolution to be 720p. it just increases the window size so large and shrinks my view to the top left corner of the screen and gives me huge scroll bars to navigate the desktop. Maybe to weak to run Kali in anything over 720?īut it doesn't crash, when set over 720p. I have done all updates as well, including adding max VRAM to my VM. I have installed guest additions and this did not solve the issue.
When I switch to 2160p it becomes unusable and messing with virtualbox scaling window settings brings it back to 720p automatically each time.
